Investigation 4 Math Reflections

Answer the following questions on YOUR blog as a post. Use the same title as mine for your post. Write your answers in complete sentences! An easy way to do this is to copy and paste the questions below onto your post and then put your answers in a different color!

1) What has to be the same in order for two parallelograms to be similar?

2) Describe a way to find a missing side length in a pair of similar figures.

3) I have a small isosceles triangle with a base of 3 inches and other sides are 4 inches.
I want to create a similar isosceles triangle with a base of 7.5 inches.
What should the other side lengths be and why?

Today is your day to catch up on blogging! You need to go back through assignments 1-5 and make sure you have done them all. Before you leave today, you need to leave me a comment on THIS post about which assignments you got through. For example, if you have done everything but assignment 5, leave a comment like this:

Hi Guys!

Most of you are really catching on to using blogs. I'm proud of you! If you need extra time or help - today is the day.

For this assignment - take the time to make sure you are all caught up on the past assignments. Then when you finish, leave me a comment under this post to let me know how far you got.

After that, go the "Study Island" link on the left hand side of my blog. You can log in like this:
FirstNameLastName.PPS then your ID # is your lunch number. See me if you need help logging in. There are 2 assignments posted under your class (Block 2 or Block 3). Work on those today. You may chose game mode to complete these assignments, but you need a 70% or higher to move on.

4. As the title put "Class Links"
5. Put domenicomathclass.blogspot.com/ as the URL
6. Put Math Class Blog as the Name.

You should now have my blog linked to your blog. Click on "view blog" to check it out.

Just for fun - connect four with a partner

Play this game with a nearby classmate. It's connect four - with a twist. You must answer the problem correctly and then you are able to place your chip somewhere on the board. Best out of three games. Choose addition, subtraction, multiplication and division before you start.
