Linear Relationships
Hi Class! Make this a post on your blog titled "Linear Relationships"
Choose 3 situations below. For each situation, do the following:
-find the independent variable
-find the dependent variable
-write an equation
-describe the graph
Here is an example: Mr. Hunt eats 2 cookies per day.
Independent variable: days
Dependent variable: Cookies eaten
Equation: c=cookies eaten, d=days, so c = 2d
Graph: Starts at the origin, increases at a constant rate of 2 cookies per day.
1) Miss Slawinski shops online 3 times per day.
2) Mrs. Moseley forgets her keys 4 times per week.
3) Mr. Greig assigns atlas work 6 times a month.
4) Mrs. Domenico walks her dog 7 times a week.
5) Mr. Buchman puts $200 on his checking account and then spends $10 per day for lunch.

Integer practice!
Hi Guys! Here are links that will take you to extra practice with integers.
Go here:
http://www.funbrain.com/cgi-bin/nl.cgi?A1=s&A2=4
I want you to try at least 25 problems and then send me a comment with your correct/incorrect score.
OR you could go here:
http://www.aplusmath.com/flashcards/sub-nflash.html
Then you could do addition or subtraction flashcards (with integers) then send me a comment with your score.
OR go to www.studyisland.com
and sign in. Go to your class and complete any of the assignments I posted.
